Why FASTems' EMT Program Stands Out in Texas

If the idea of providing life-saving care in high-stakes situations excites you, a career as an EMT is perfect. As first responders, EMTs are the critical link in emergency healthcare, arriving first at scenes of medical crises – from strokes and seizures to car wrecks and fires – to stabilize patients and transport them to advanced facilities. At FASTems, our veteran-owned program accelerates this journey, offering one of the most efficient EMT Basic courses nationwide while ensuring you’re fully prepared for the demands of the job.

Our 14-day format is fully approved by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), covering all EMT Basic requirements. You’ll graduate eligible for the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) exam and Texas licensure – no gaps, no delays. Taught by active EMTs and Paramedics with frontline experience, we emphasize current protocols, realistic simulations, and 36 hours of clinical rotations in high-volume ambulances and Emergency Departments. This hands-on approach builds confidence for the real challenges of EMS, where quick decisions can mean life or death.
