Training in Texas

Yes! Our 14-day accelerated course is fully approved by the Texas Department of State Health Services. Upon completion, you’ll receive a DSHS-approved EMT Basic certificate, making you eligible to take the National Registry of EMTs (NREMT) exam for national certification.

No worries – it’s included! You’ll earn your American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) card, covering CPR and AED, right as part of the course.

Absolutely. Throughout the 14 days, our experienced instructors will guide you through all EMT Basic skills. Plus, you’ll complete 36 hours of clinical rotations with EMS ambulance providers and hospital emergency departments for real, hands-on patient care.

After successfully finishing our course, take the NREMT exam. Once you pass and earn national certification, apply to the Texas Department of State Health Services for your state license – and you’re ready to work!

EMTs are in high demand across Texas! Common paths include EMS agencies, firefighting departments, private industry (like oil fields or events), hospitals, and more. For pre-med students, an EMT license is an excellent path to gaining over 1,000 hours of hands-on clinical experience, significantly enhancing applications for medical school or PA programs.
